WET NUTS! I am a great lover of wet nuts from way back, and you know what the only thing better than wet nuts is? Serve yourself wet nuts, that's what.
By the way, is the term "wet nuts" a regionalism? My wife is from downstate and looked at me like I had two heads when she first heard me say it. I guess it is a pleasantly obscene kind of phrase. However, a truly apt description of the substance.
Anyhow, "tcby" is pretty much what you would expect. Fro-you and fixin's (wet nuts. wet nuts. wet nuts.).
I did a stint at TCBY back in college and we definitely had wet walnuts.

ReplyDeleteI grew up in the Hudson Valley. Worked in an ice cream shop, and we had wet nuts. :)
